Garcia is the head coach of the Mable Falls High School golf team in 2003 and 2006, steered the team to a third-place performance in a regional tournament. It is no doubt that the lady is a skilled golfer. She has won more than 17 gold medals, including at the National stage. Garcia is also an active member of the Women's Texas Golf Association. After graduating from highschool, Garcia attended Texas Christain University for several years and later transferred to the University of Texas.
